Children (simply portrayed with innocence and dignity), character dolls that make me smile, and dolls that evoke a specific ethnicity, time period or historical figure are also cherished. I love interesting fabrics, accessories and unexpected details, but dolls do not have to be overly elaborate to win my affection.  I do not collect baby dolls.
